im completely OUT on Dylan

Unfortunately he’s the best thrower we’ve ever had. His o line is trash and he lacks a run game to offset the blanket coverage

But that doesn’t negate the fact that WRs are open often in the 3 sec window and he’s more afraid of throwing in tight coverage to mess with his completion % except when the down/qtr are on the line.

Which in reality costs him More than it benefits him.

Counterpoint: the wind doesn’t matter then you don’t throw it and get sacked.
Totally agree that we should have run the ball more. Don't know exactly what picture Dylan was seeing without all 22, but clearly protection issues and that was certainly exacerbated by limited passing game with the wind. We seem to run some longer developing pass plays and we need better quick game IMO.

Would note though that both off Chiles picks came WITH the wind and he had ~80 total pass yards.

He definitely needs to improve there.

Extending a play is a huge plus for any offense.

Not having the internal clock that tells you you’re not extending shit is a huge negative.

He shows flashes of great pocket presence and awareness, followed by an utter lack of situational awareness.

It’s a tad frustrating to watch.

Yeah that way when the pocket breaks down in 0.4 seconds and he throws it away we can get a bunch of intentional grounding calls called on us.

If you watch either of the last two games and actually pay attention, you’re a complete dumbass if you think it is anything other than being behind a terrible o-line that can’t diagnose or pick up exotic pressures or a 4+ man rush.

Yeah, a couple bad picks like every quarterback ever.

Bunch of fucking mouth breathers in this thread.

This is 100% a great majority of the problem, but Raiola held the ball too long in at least a couple instances today - their DBs did a surprisingly good job for as poor as they were supposed to be.

It’s nice to have a OC who can manage a QB. That first half was shite but Dana adjusted. The defense is better than ppl think, jobu has some issues but not many QBs left that scare me
Yeah Butler has done it against enough dudes now who have looked good in their other games that I think we can say the pass D is real. Just a matter of keeping the mobile QBs contained enough.

Oh so being horny is a crime now?
Having that bad of game is the crime
