R halftime adjustments a myth?

When I coached high school football we made halftime adjustments every game. Our O-line coach was a wizard with the marker board. "Where are the lining up? OK, we need to do this then."

Maybe in the NFL those adjustments are made on the fly between series rather than at halftime. Hard to do that in high school with kids playing both ways.

Same.

I coached high school as well and we had a short position group huddle and then an overall offense/defense session before leaving the locker room.

On the between series stuff, we did actually do that on the sideline as well. Had a big enough roster nobody played both ways.
