It looks like a Red pass will get you in to several lots. That's what I'm going to go with. With taxes and fees...$77.17. I guess you have to pay up when there isn't enough available parking....

Where's that sarcasm font? Lol

That's odd. I clicked on the link that I was sent in my e-mail, which took me to the Chiefs site and I got the Red Lot for $50 + $3.75 in fees.

I am about to make this post while accepting my fate as an asshole:

I was planning all along to bring the wife, but one of my sons has tugged at her heart strings enough that she is bowing out and demanding I take him. That doesn't bother me as I have raised him as a massive Husker fan. She gives two shits about football. Anyway, now that I'm taking him, I have a logistical issue.

He is in 8th grade, and a starter on the 8th grade varsity team with football scrimmage Thursday after school. His scrimmage will go until around 5:45. By the time, I get him home and showered, it will be 6 pm at the earliest. We will high tail it to the stadium from Gardner, but I know we likely won't even get into the parking lot until 7 to 7:15. Bottom line is I won't be able to tailgate. I will barely even get into the stadium by kickoff.

Considering the whole tailgate idea was my idea, I now feel like a Giant Asshole. When I explained this to my wife, she looked at me and said try explaining that to your son while also facing the reality of not getting laid for the next month.

I deserve whatever shit you want to toss my direction.

We’ll all manage have fun with your boy!

I know some back road routes into Arrowhead. I'm going to speed like crazy and try to get in there earlier than expected. I want you all to let me know where you are, and I will try to show up for a little while.

You can meet my 13 year-old son who is 5'9 240 with size 13 feet. I'm 6'5 and about 10 pounds lighter. I'm guessing my son will be 6'7 300 at age 16.

he loves the Huskers.

Can we get a wingspan and hand size?

Put him on growth suppressors so he stays 5'9" - we'll need nose tackles.

Is buying parking something we have to or should do ahead of time? Can you not just show up and pay when you enter the lot?
I suppose this is old news for people that have tickets, but I just got a text reminding/telling me that parking passes for Thursday's game must be purchased in advance online. So got that taken care of. Straight from the Cheifs/Ticketmaster for $53.75 ($50 face plus fees/tax) for a Red Pass, the cheapest one.

We (4) will be there. Knot sure what we'd be able to bring but positive we will make a nice $ contribution.

Im assuming we could bring some beers at min.

If I was driving it, I'd bring some for real fresh hali and stuff.

I have no idea what we could help with but open to suggestions.
Just throw those bad boys in a fish box and check it at the airport. That's what I do with smoked salmon when I visit the motherland.

I started a new thread about this, but I volunteer to make nametags for the tailgate to make the repeated introductions a little less awkward among people who know each other but really don't. See this thread for more details.
