He works out every day, is probably in a caloric deficit
His football program has a pretty good nutrition program and s&c program, I image he takes advantage of both

I know this is a rhetorical question, but maybe he didn’t take advantage of S&C or nutritional opportunities at his previous stops.
He just turned 50 in January, so that’s when medical professionals really start emphasizing improving the things you can control through exercise and diet. The changes in his appearance seem to start showing this Spring, so he could have legitimately changed things and lost the weight. Being in a caloric deficit and training will change your comp and at 50, he’d likely lose muscle mass as well.
Or he’s on Ozempic.

He'd neither be the first nor the last coach who got the third year at Nebraska and got melted by the stress of the job. Frost got puffy faced and bloodshot eyed from all that... Not abusing alcohol (per Dean)... Riley aged like 30 years in the off-season between 2 and 3.

Lutovsky also doesn't look very jacked in that lighting so I think the whole team is abusing GLP-1s.
