You'd be surprised. I've seen Bill Callahan when he was our coach on these boards when I sat behind him on a flight from Omaha to Dallas. He opened and viewed threads for the entire 2 hour flight on a laptop directly in front of me. I've been to a bunch of Husker events, donor events, over the years and meet parents that tell me they're on the boards. The last 2 years I've been to the open practice for high school football coaches and counted at least 10 parents at the practice scrolling these boards while their son was out there practicing. You'd be shocked at the names that are on these boards at any given time. It's been that way for 20+ years. These boards are a microcosm of the fanbase and if you extrapolate most of our thoughts and feelings I'd guarantee it would represent a majority of the overall fanbase. Instead of conducting a Gallup poll every few months, they can get real-time info from these boards.
