Sign Up Now!they were a bad team last year in a mediocre Big 12. Cincy's only quality win was against against Arizona St, but that was the week Leavitt was injured and they had to start Jeff Sims
That and we are significantly better and we are just going to beat the fuck out of themI think they will be improved this season. They added better talent, but I'm skeptical those dudes will be ready to go in week one, especially in Arrowhead to open the college football season.
Starting RT - Played at Albany last season. - Their home stadium seats 8600
Starting LT - played at South Dakota- Dakota Dome seats 10,000
Starting RG - played at Ball State - where they average 12,000 per game
new #1 receiver Jeff Caldwell was at FCS Lindenwood the last 3 seasons. - They average 6200 per game.
New CB - McDoom was at Coastal Carolina - 15,000 seats
New safety starter from New Mexico State - averaged 19k per game last year
New Edge Jaylon McCray White - played at Old Dominion last season
New Safety Xavier Williams - transfer from Middle Tennessee State which was his 4th G5 program
I'm not going to shit on these guys. I think the offensive additions especially are very good athletes. Caldwell especially looks like a future pro. But, I don't think any of those dudes will have a clue how to handle playing a National TV Opener in a soldout iconic NFL stadium like Arrowhead.
I also think the Husker fans that will be in attendance are the hostile, drunk, and loud crew. Jim and Nancy from Elba aren't making that trip.

How dumb would you have to be to do that?they were a bad team last year in a mediocre Big 12. Cincy's only quality win was against against Arizona St, but that was the week Leavitt was injured and they had to start Jeff Sims

he was legitimately their 2nd best QB last year, but even their coaches knew exactly what he was. I told my ASU friends to immediately bet on the other team if Sims was ever forced to playHow dumb would you have to be to do that?
I don't blame Rhule or Scat too bad for Sims. Definitely some signs of life from him over his career at GT, but shoo wee did it spectacularly go in the shitter for him in Lincoln.
Famous last words, but I'm with Cornicaror here. OL experience is one of the top things with wins and losses up there with turnovers. Getting broken in on a Thursday night with an absolutely bonkers Nebraska crowd that's almost OD-d on hopium shouldn't be a fun eveningI've spent a lot of time researching them. I think Nebraska is going to beat the hell out of them on the line of scrimmage. Their offensive line has 37 total starts at the FBS level.
Its patched together like Colorado from last season. I could be the most naiive dude on this board. But I have a real difficult time believing that offensive line is going to be cohesive in week one.
The other thing that's not really being did discussed is the Environment. Arrowhead is going to be rocking in week one.
They're going to be starting at least 9 new transfers who were playing in the FCS or G5 last season. I think a bunch of this dudes are going to be nervous as fuck, overamped as fuck, or intimidated as fuck.
Meanwhile, dudes like Key, Pritchett, Hunter, Spindler, and McCullough all have extensive experience in Big game Environments.
Yeah, I believe they thought they could develop him...or he was the best available at the time. I can't recall all the details surrounding his transfer, but it was this staff's 1st season.I don't blame Rhule or Scat too bad for Sims. That’s a pretty good ratio for ol’ Jeff.he was legitimately their 2nd best QB last year, but even their coaches knew exactly what he was. I told my ASU friends to immediately bet on the other team if Sims was ever forced to play
Their coach had a great quote about Sims during fall camp. it was something like "he'll have 5 great plays in a row where you can see his potential, then the 6th play is a disaster"
Yeah I don't want to rehash it too much but basically no good QB hit the portal that season who didn't know exactly where they were going when they jumped in. It was basically Sims or roll with whatever Frost leftYeah, I believe they thought they could develop him...or he was the best available at the time. I can't recall all the details surrounding his transfer, but it was this staff's 1st season.
That said, if it fumbles like a duck, throws interceptions like a duck, then it's a duck that shouldn't play football.
you left out the part where he then tried to run it himself, fumbled, and it was returned for a TDThat’s a pretty good ratio for ol’ Jeff.
Remember the game when Haarberg’s helmet came off and Sims had to come in for one play? They called a simple handoff— and Jeff turned the wrong way and stuck the ball out where there was no running back.
Or remember when Amigos filmed a bunch of commercials with him and had a Jeff Sims combo meal, but were too embarrassed by him to ever run the commercials? We’ll probably never get another dime of NIL money from Amigos. That’s a pretty good ratio for ol’ Jeff.
