Has anyone been to Dante and/or Committee Chophouse? With Dante - curious if it matches the hype. With Committee, curious if it matches the price. Wife and I typically do V. Mertz when in town but looking to change it up.

2nd this ^, the times I've been to Dante the pizza was pretty average...for pizza I'd go with Pitch in Dundee (west O Pitch isn't as good IMO), consistent quality across the menu hit up Ooh De Lally (formerly Mark's Bistro) also in Dundee. For Sushi that's not like anything else in Omaha or the midwest for that matter, try Yoshitomo in Benson. We hit Mahogany Saturday and even though I know they're a chain, the filet was the most tender and best one I've had in years...happy gastronomical experience.

Dante was fine when I had it (been a while). Nothing I'd make a point to rush back to, though.

Got a whole pizza at Costco tonight for under $11 - it was pretty good.

Went to Committee for our anniversary three years ago I think. Very good meal, but we went all out and it was expensive. Conceived my youngest son after that meal, so if you’re looking to reproduce it’s something to consider.

Never been to either but went to Clio the other week and it was fantastic.

Been to committee a few times and thought it was amazing every time. My wife and I always split everything at places like that and they are great at accommodating that. The cottonwood is awesome to stay at as well.

Went to Committee with my girl probably about a year ago. Ordered oysters, a ribeye & a bunch of old fashioneds. It was good, I had no complaints.

Clio is absolutely incredible. Went there with my wife last Fall, one of the best meals I’ve had in NE

Anyone been to Cattle Call yet? We went last month and thought it was pretty good. Plus you can get the Katmandu Momo food there which is great.

V. Mertz is one of my favorites in town. Have been to J Gilbert's a few times and it's been fantastic every time

Dante's is good, but if you want that style of pizza i'd go to Lyles, Dolomiti, Timber, or Via Farina before them.

V.Mertz is tough to beat. We also enjoy Boiler Room when we’re in town
