I will say I don't think I have ever seen a returning starter QB move up 4.5 or 5 points in the ratings in their senior year. I think there is a very good chance it is unprecedented or close to it.

We are all speculating of course, and what I am about to say is also just my speculation, but I do not think there is any way he ends up playing in front of a healthy Trae Taylor.
Trae ain’t starting as a true freshman. Rhule learned his lesson with Raoila & even then only really started Raoila out of necessity. Probably the only way we got him was to basically give him the starting job.

PWO is still kind of big deal. There won't be too many of those spots available now with the 105
True. But as of yesterday, there is new flexibility for reward PWOs. The roster limits were codified, and as part of that, they said there are no longer sport specification scholarship limits. If someone who got a scholarship as a recruit is cut for poor play, they retain their scholarship.

I presume because there are no limits, you can then give a scholarship to someone else going on the roster. It is likely subject to the cap, but the ceiling for the cost of max scholarship for all sports in $2.5M.
