Ol uncle Lee didn’t putt so well hisself yesterday but we had a blast. Highly recommend Common Ground GC to anyone in the Denver area.

Agreed, that was my first time there and it’s an awesome course.

Commonground is a wonderful place. Built on a shoestring budget and turned out great. Should be a model for more municipalities around the country. Takes someone like Ed Mate at the Colorado Golf Association to pull it off, but it’s more than possible for most places.

Playing my yearly round at Landmand on Saturday. WeatherBug shows the high being 103. Good news is there’s plenty of shade on the course…. Ha

I know it’s only Family Sports Center 9 hole course but I played there today and felt great. Didn’t lose any balls which is unheard of for me. Only took one mulligan lol. And I had four pars, should have had a couple birdies if I could putt.

Played a scramble today in the heat and the wind. It was getting pretty gross towards the end after noon.

I’m guessing 1890 and the Peeds are addressing the golf situation by building their new course though.
