I was telling anyone that would listen that Sanders would rather take a sack and blame the OL, than ruin his completion percentage.

That said, I think he has about the highest floor of all QBs in the draft, but a not very high ceiling, if that makes sense.

Travis Hunter is a stud, so I don't just hate Colorado players.

I think Shadeur can be a good NFL QB, just not First Round good. If I'm the Giants I take whoever is available between Hunter and Abdul Carter. Carter and Hunter are by far the 2 best players in the draft and I'd opt for one of those 2 rather than a QB that needs development.

Sanders going somewhere and not starting right away will serve him best.

Agree with the high floor and low ceiling. He's pretty old to show much more growth.

Well Rhule, there might be a reason you didn't make it in the NFL...

There is no way in hell i'm drafting him in the First if i'm a GM/HC...second round, MAYBE

Rhule was actually pretty good at drafting, he was just in Carolina lol. And I wouldn’t want to be the one to do it either but someone’s gonna draft Shedildo in the first round. I know Vegas actually has him at negative money to go in the second round now, but I don’t see it.

All 3 were way more accomplished in college imo. If Steelers don’t take him, I think he falls to the second

I’m just saying, Rhule didn’t fail in the NFL because he drafted bad. IMO to many teams need qbs for him to slide to the second. If im a GM/coach and my jobs on the line why would I draft an elite DE or corner in the NFL when I don’t have a qb, just drafting him for the next staff. Shit look at Rhules stint, hit on every single first round pick he made and still got fired in 3 years because he didn’t have a qb.

I don’t disagree, my comment was mostly tongue in cheek but I personally don’t think he’s the type of player to save anyone’s job, especially not right away. Best case scenario he sits for a year or two and improves and by then, it’s too late

I don’t either. My point is an elite corner or DT isn’t going to save anyone’s job so you might as well take the risk to draft a qb.

It doesn’t matter if I need a qb or not, there’s no world where I’m drafting him over someone like Abdul Carter. Now if it’s someone who projects as an elite qb at the next level, that’s different. At the end of the day, I don’t see him as a first round talent but I’m also just some guy so it’s possible I don’t know shit about fuck

Everyone will fail in Carolina with Tepper. Dude is a huge D-Bag.

Rhule doesn’t want to deal with Deion’s bs is how I read this. Plus as a college coach, you don’t want to be trashing on a kid’s chances to earn money before the draft
Yep. 100%. The Pete Tweet was looking for Rhule to speak his mind and Rhule was smart enough to just stay away from the comment and give Shadeur a little kudos and move on so it is a non-story.

Okay but how did Micah Parsons help Mccarthy? He still got fired because he didnt have a qb.

I can't think of a single time Rhule wasn't positive to the point of being effusive when asked about any opposing coach or player.

Maybe he lets some stuff out in private, but I just don't think it's in his nature.
Of course, I was mostly just messing around because I'm sure some Nebraska fans will be clutching their pearls about it.

He threw his O line under a ton. His first year I agree they were terrible in pass protection, in year 2 his decision making was way too slow with far too long of routes. Made them look bad when they were improved.
