He's one of those guys that you can see the potential. He makes some 3's, grabs some rebounds, plays solid defense and then a few minutes later he air balls, looks stupid on defense and turns it over.

That’s the thing. I think he’s a guy who would benefit massively from a spring, summer, and fall here where he’s working on his body and his game. There’s potential for him to be a very good big ten player.

Completely agree. I don't claim to be an expert but I think it would be much better for him if he stays here this off-season instead of going back to Turkey. I have no idea if he has any commitments to the Turkish youth team. He could even transfer too. You never know anymore.

I wouldn't hate to see Berke go, I think he hurts the team with dumb mental mistakes and is too streaky.

So far I like what Hoiberg has done but it would be nice to grab an elite scorer.

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only dude who watched him play from Hawaii until the Ohio State game. I think the kid lacks some toughness and it probably impacts his confidence at times. But there was a reason why Nebraska was 16-6 when he was 100% healthy. Hell, I think they even hold on to beat St. Mary's if he doesn't get hurt in that game. He averaged 12 and 6 in that 22 game timeframe and played very good defense.

IMO, the best thing for that kid is to take a month or two off from basketball, regroup emotionally and physically, and then return to the game refreshed in the Summer.

Let’s hear it @park_neb

He shouldn't have left last year. Was tampered with & talked into the portal by CJ Wilcher's dad. Was promised unrealistic money and minutes. Ends up at Rhode Island after less interest than he was being told. Think he regretted going in pretty fast after getting there. Huskers wanted him back the whole time but he was asking for stuff Fred wasn't able or comfortable to give him. $ and minutes. Just let the wrong people get in his corner and start influencing his trajectory. Wilcher family was constantly unhappy here.

Well I’m glad we got him back. I think he could’ve won us a couple games this year that we lost.

CJ sure has done a lot at A&M. Grass isn’t always greener

Do you have any idea why they were unhappy? I know Simeon engaged fans a lot on Twitter that talked shit about CJ.
