Dean typo'd like 3 times in his response.I have to applaud him for going after the lazy old Nebraska media. They all suck

I appreciate his contributions but he may have just burned his bridges there. That was a very stupid and childish way to take a stand against the thing that pays his bills really. And he did it in a very smug, punchable way.I'm not going to out his @ but Jacob is here and contributes inside info when he has it so go easy on him haha
I don't get the Mitch Sherman hate. He's one of the few actual journalists on our scene and he comes across as a professional in most of the stuff I see from him. Even in his replies to this dude he was reasonable.I appreciate his contributions but he may have just burned his bridges there. I can’t stand Severe and glad he went after him, but that 1620 interview was bad. Almost sounded like he was sabotaging himself. With that said I want him to continue to melt down
Dean had some thoughts on it:
I like how he called all the current main football media members "old grifters." I just could not imagine being a guy starting out, trying to make a name for myself, calling out all the current people doing this job as "old grifters."
I've never met Jacob. I'm not sure if that comment was directed towards us, or who it was directed to. We've worked very hard to get this point. We are a fully self-sustained business. He commented on shows spending too much time on football, we'll we see the numbers. We have to talk football if we want videos that do over 10,000 views. Even when we had Mark Manning on, which was a great interview, it was one of our lower shows at around 8,000 views. Nebraska basketball is just rarely something we can lead with on a show and expect big numbers vs. football. That's the reality of this market and what it is. I don't talk a big game on Twitter. I look at the raw data and numbers.
Again, I don't know Jacob and he's never said two words to me. I am just commenting on the "old grifter" portion, where he took a shot at all the football guys who have done the job for a long time.
They could make it up like Alan Judd formerly with the Atlanta Journal Constitution.Deano's point was true though, nobody listens unless its regurgitated football info. What else are they supposed to do?
Must of sobered up and was like shit. I’ll just pretend I was joking. Classic move Bingo uses in the Lot.

I miss Kobe... 🙁
WHAT? I missed them...shit!! I take back what I said about being a well written piece...FMLDean typo'd like 3 times in his response.
Think he's a dude who likes basketball the most out of the sports, atleast seems like it. I quite frankly do not care about basketball. I also don't take spring football all that seriously anymore. It's baseball season, but that also doesn't generate numbers and everyone knows that. He's on the Happer Show quite a bit and I do turn the channel whenever that conversation starts, mainly cause I do not care at all about basketball.
