Interesting because rumor was a B1G school offered McAndrew a large bag to transfer and most think he is going to leave after this year. I don’t know if he would take the Indiana job. Feel like he would have gone to ASU for half the price if they ever move on from Hurley but they have zero money to fire him.

In all seriousness though, are we in the NIT or crown? I would think we should be in the NIT but I do also understand NOT making our conference tournament is kind of a “black eye” for us.

I think we technically auto qualify for Crown and even if we don’t auto qualify we’re in because of the league restrictions to the tournament

I'd be pretty pumped for the Crown or even the NIT if:

1 - This is Hoibergs first or second season and post season basketball can be a sign of growth and future hope.

or

2 - If this was a young team that had a lot of returning talent that should continue to get better and this postseason can help gain momentum for next year.

Since neither are true I really don't care if Nebraska plays in either of the consolatory post season tournaments.

Man, with so many teams/players opting out of postseason play, it just reinforces what we already knew—$$$ runs everything. Why not let redshirts play in the CBI, Crown, and NIT? It’d keep fans engaged and give future players valuable experience in real-game situations. Seems like a win-win.
