DST probably had a bit to do with it, but not a great excuse.
Place was on pins and needles the entire stretch run. Crowd was more stressed and nervous than anything it seemed like. Have to wonder if the team felt that… not exactly positive energy.

This team has been flat to start games all year long. Can’t have the crowd bring your energy in must win games.

I've read several comments attributing the slow starts to Fred's overall even keeled demeanor. I don't know if there is any truth to that, but there is definitely a pattern, at least with this year's team.

Not even halfway thru B1G play, we're safely in the tournament.
Only to shit ourselves.
To then rebound with an opportunity to get back in.
Back to shitting ourselves again, this time not even making the B1G tournament.
To winning the Crown...
And Juwan earns the MVP while Brice breaks the single season scoring record.
