Overwhelming good people and quite possibly the most loyal fans in the country. I do find boomer Husker fans to be exhausting.
I do think that our obsession with the past is a hindrance at times. Honor the past, but at some point the program is going to have to be "reborn" (ala Joseph Campbell) so that it can move forward.

I think many people are whining children in search of instant gratification through something they simply can’t control.

I’m probably going to get roasted for a non controversial take, but Nebraska has great fans. Every fanbase has its fair share of dipshits, it’s inevitable with large groups. But the amount of passion we still have, even after terrible play for a number of years, is unheard of.

I kind of draw a comparison to what the Joker said in the Dark Knight, 'we're like a dog chasing cars...we don't know what we'd do with it if we caught it.'
Cars are a successful program, winning seasons, top recruiting classes, calls not going our way, etc. Husker fans need something to bitch about and we all bitch about the Huskers. We don't know what we'd do if we couldn't bitch about the Huskers.

I'm indifferent. Depends on the person I suppose. Overall I would say I like Nebraska fans however, the "greatest fans" thing I find obnoxious.

omaha nebraska fans have to deal with Cockeye fans every day. the constant conflict makes us stronger, smarter, and more resilient than non-omaha husker fans

I guess I should also mention that I prefer watching games all by myself. 4 or 5 games a year I watch with friends but I usually get annoyed because people say stupid shit. So I guess the fact that I prefer watching games all by myself show what I think of Husker fans.
