Game Thread Nebrasketball Game #17: Rutgers - Thursday, January 16th 8:00pm FS1

Buddy I’m just talking about in general, you just run hot during games

Basketball makes my blood boil more than any other sport.

Football I’m fine until I discuss after the game.

I can sit and watch baseball all day and see every bad call in the world and not say anything unless an umpire gets a rules interpretation wrong and then I’ll say something.

But basketball triggers me worse than any other sport.

I'm done with our defensive philosophy. The play in the last 4 minutes where we doubled #99 and left Ace Bailey wide open for a 3 did it. I'd also be perfectly fine if I never saw Rollie Worster play basketball ever again.

The one that did it for me that nobody will talk about or remember was when we were up 5 with the ball and Brice let it piddle away to them and they follow with a 3.

Put a fork in me. As a Nebrasketball homer, that was a gut punch.

Up 4 and your senior leader is shooting in the bonus, barely grazes iron, you get the board, and your other senior leader then turns it over that leads to a bucket.

Just unbelievably dumb basketball at times. Like someone else said - you double someone named MARTINI and leave open a top 3 pick in the corner, who had already knocked down two of those corner 3s. Just dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb basketball.

I remember this one well. Brice tried to make an impossible pass to Morgan.
He drives me nuts when he does things like that. He's a step away from a contested layup. I'll take Brice with a contested layup over 1% chance pass to Morgan works every time. He's been better this year but seems to get stupid like this too often still.
