Game 13 - Pinstripe Bowl v Boston College (Saturday, December 28 - 11:00am ABC): Depth Chart, Game Notes, Odds & Ends, etc
I thinks it's funny that its called the "Mowers" bowl or whatever the sponsor is. Because when you think of New York City you naturally think of lots of people mowing their lawns.
Rhule mentioned possibly holding Ty Robinson out for this game due to his draft potential. Maybe this situation changes his mind a bit on it. Robinson wants to play in the bowl game.

Bowl game sponsors don't give a shit about the people who are attending the games, they are spending a shit ton of money for the TV Add space.
Bad Boy Mowers run from $2900 to $7k. They are spending about $3 million for the naming rights and the TV time. The game will likely draw about 2 million eyeballs.
If they can sell 1,000 mowers, they will break even.

Did a marketing project on them in college. Their brand has 20x'ed or more since they bought naming rights to the gasparilla bowl. They looked at the revolving brand deals tied to bowls and bet big on being a top 5 most consistent bowl partner.
You're seeing a lot of bowl partners leaning into wacky now (poptarts, cheezit, dukes mayo)
Based on where they ended up and what they contributed, not really. K State took a WR who had a few hundred yards at Texas Tech, but only put up like 70 yards at BC this season
