Inside InfoI'm putting my balls in for..... **update 7.3**
I’ve figured for a while now that Hegerle would be out of luck with regards to a WR spot. I hope we find a way to get him an offer as a defensive athlete.

That’s the issue now too. He’s in the same mold as the kid from North Platte. Do you take both? I can envision the NP kid growing into a JoJo type and I think Hergerle is definitely a safety.
I am going to hold off on getting too excited or too down on these kids till there are a few months + of evaluations. This class is going to be a crap shoot because of the lack of evaluations.
I will say this kid is thought very highly of and I can see why based on his film. Just hopefully he has the work ethic to take it to the next level.
Would be great to make inroads to St Peter’s Prep in Jersey City. That’s school is typically good for one blue chip recruit each year. Pretty sure JerseyHusker’s son went there, or maybe still goes there.
Funny story about St Peter’s Prep… they built a brand new athletic practice facility a few years ago, funded in large part by donations from Minkah Fitzpatrick. Long ago, when they were planning the expansion, they discovered that they needed an additional 5 yards of land to complete the northwest corner of the end zone. However, that land was occupied by a very old, windowless dive bar called Golden Cicada Tavern, seen here:
Golden Cicada is a tiny, completely windowless bar owned by an old Chinese man where new customers are given baijiu shots made from sorghum and there aren’t any fixed prices (he just looks at you and decides what the drink will cost). In 2005 St Peter’s Prep got the city to bring an eminent domain case against the bar to claim the land. The owner fought the case for five years and won. Eventually, the school offered him a few million for the property and he told them to fvck off, ultimately leading to SPP building a beautiful turf field that is missing approximately 100 sq yards from its north end zone. I would imagine they don’t run many fade routes to that side during practice.
A couple years ago, the owner of the Golden Cicada decided to retire and sold the property to a development company, likely for something north of $10M. Good for that guy.
FYI the KSU writer said that he was the best OL that they worked out so far.
"The best offensive lineman I’ve seen work out at Kansas State thus far during the camp season" "He earned an offer from the Wildcats after his camp performance in Manhattan, which was his second Power Five offer of the process. Pastore did the same in Lincoln at the beginning of the month when he worked out for Nebraska."

Was uptown Hoboken from '08-'`18... 11th and Park. 700 sqft place. Sold it and moved to a 6 acre farm in Maine. Still have lots of good friends in our old building, The Heights, and down by where you lived! Loved the music scene between Hoboken and JC.
