Bomani Jones had a great segment on mid, and why it isn't bad at all. Basically, back in the day, we all had mid mostly, and it was fine. Did the job, no complaints. Then you met the kids with that loud/gas, and now its all you want because its significantly better/more potent. But still, mid isn't bad or anything. It'll still do the trick.

Spot on. Kids these days will never appreciate smoking mid out of an apple and listening to Sublime at Elmwood Park
