the surest sign that NU has been terrible for a while is getting multiple non-saturday games. feels like the only thing separating us from the MAC is about $50 million

That does suck to have a short week after a long stretch. Surprised Illinois doesn't have a Bye the week before. B1G just looks for ways to screw us. For Selfish reason I do like road games on a Friday night as it is great exposure plus it doesn't cut into my boating time on Saturday.

I went to the Rutgers game last year and I had a fucking blast. I was toasted and Rutgers fans were honestly cool as hell.

Not completely true. Even Ohio State and Michigan have been on Friday nights. Once they start moving your home games to Friday night, that's when you fucking suck.
Illinois lobbied hard for a Nationally Televised Home night game. The Big Ten could only guarantee them one if they accepted a Friday night.

I was there, too. It was fun but the few Rutgers students in the area were annoying. They were like goth kids at a football game. Nothing like out-broing some dudes but still annoying. The most annoying some 7 year old that kept coming into our row to try and get players to sign his football. Was just yelling at them none stop when the game was going on.

I was sitting by some old NYC guys and they we were buying each other drinks. It was fun as hell.
