Have always used Turbo Tax in the past but they keep jacking their prices up every year. I use it for ours (Married Filing Joint, Standard 1040, Roth Contributions, 529 plan Contributions) and our 2 girls (1040 EZ).

Is there a better bang for my buck?

I use Free Tax USA as well. Have never had any issues and allows me to do all the deductions and other shit I need to do for my wife's business.
 
I’ll third free tax USA. Switched from taxact and I’m glad I did since they were selling info to Facebook
 
Last time I tried to do mine (using IRS website as guidance), I effed it all up and got audited.

Instead of getting back $1500, I owed about $3000....lol.

Needless to say, I went back to my CPA after he bailed me out on the audit. Never again.

Surprisingly I’ve never been audited after years of using turbotax

I fudged the shit out of some of those tax returns

Pretty sure we had a thread on this last year, didn't we? I used the free Cash App Taxes last year, no complaints.
