Duke loses to Louisville and then UNC on the 7th.

You never know but I can't see Duke losing.

Oh the door is there, can we kick it in? Zona plays BYU. Michigan plays us and Michigan State, We play Illinois, Duke plays Louisville. Zona would have to lose for us to get to no.1, but we can get to 2 or 3 on our own merit if we take care of business. (4-0 or 3-1) 2-2 might even get us to no. 2-3 if we get some help… Zona loses to BYU and @ KU on the 9th. Duke loses to Louisville and then UNC on the 7th. Michigan loses to both us(NU) and Michigan state.

Unlikely it will play out exactly like that. But that would probably result in UConn being no.1 and Nebraska no.2

If we go 2-2, we'll be lucky to stay in the top 10, particularly if one is a double digit loss. I sense some pundits just waiting to put us back in our place.

Top 5 is straight legit for any team, any time. Not going to think twice about it. If anyone here thought at any point we would be Top 5, let alone Top 10 at any point this year, they are lying.

Just going to do nothing but enjoy this ride. I'm betting 2-2 in the next four games. Still keeps us in the Top 10.

This is a legit concern. A lot of voters are hesitant to rank us where we should be, which pretty tells you they’re gonna drop us more than they should when we finally lose a game.

For what it’s worth, this year is an outlier with how many 0 and 1 loss teams still left. Any other year and Nebraska is likely top 3 or even #1 if they go 20-0
