Y’all are some insecure fucks. Who cares what some moron on Twitter says? Do they pick the seeds on selection Sundays? The need for fans of this University to feel validated by other people is really crazy. Enjoy the ride, block out the noise and appreciate the beautiful basketball being played. The polls don’t mean shit.

Considering some of the people in charge of the metrics used by the "selectors" on selection Sunday, it does matter.

I don't give a shit what some random fan says on Twitter. But a lot of the national dudes are dismissing the Huskers.

I get the rationale, but personally I hope everyone keeps underestimating us. If Michigan shows up Tuesday looking at the name on the front of the jersey, we will win that game.

On this note, you really just have to try to not get blown out. If NU loses by 22 then there's gonna be a ton of "we knew they were a fraud" etc. I think as long as you lose by 10 or less it'll be fairly quiet. Hell that's a Vegas cover actually. But yes it's asinine for a 20-1 team.

The goal really is to go 1-1 this week. If you can pull that off that is a massive W of epic proportions. 2-0 this week is such an insane hypothesis that I can't even fathom it.

The Illinois game really has me on alert bc judging from their fans, they will be out for blood vs us. Underwood changed their whole practice intensity after that loss to us. It was a huge L for them. That's a massive test coming off the Michigan game. We'll need the home crowd for that one.

Warms the cockles to know that at least some people in Michigan are pulling for the boys...

A UM win Tuesday would increase MSU's chance for a conference title. I'm torn. Deeply.

Can't root for UM, but I don't think Nebraska matches up well at all in this one, especially without Frager.

Still remember MSU needed a UM win over Purdue ( I think) back in the day for MSU to win the title outright. And Jud said , Go Purdue. I agree with Jud. Nothing good comes from a skunkbear W

I will pull and root for Nebraska, but I think it's better for us on Friday if Mythigan prevails. I'd rather play them when they're feeling kind of cocky. Coming off a loss at home, the Wolvies might be more focused at the Breslin.

Never root for them. Even when it seems like it will help us. Remember the Sugar Bowl. What was that? '08?

I like to think about it as a win-win. If Nebraska wins, obviously watching Michigan lose is fun. If Michigan wins, we’re tied for first in the big ten.

Last I looked Michigan was a 10.5 favorite. I think it opened at 11.5. That seems like a big number.

Feeling confident? Im with ya. It does seem like Michigan State is the one trending in the right direction the last few weeks. I told one of my scUM Co-workers I think Michigan could run into a buzzsaw. It's going to be electric at the Breslin center on Friday night.

Don’t think Michigan beating Nebraska helps improve MSUs chances at the big ten title. Still don’t have enough faith in them to think they stay under 3-4 losses in conference play

Yes. I think Breslin is going to be a top 5 environment in the last 10-15 years on Friday night. I expect it to be rocking. Michigan is obviously a really good team but if we keep defending at a high level as I expect, I really love our chances.

I'll go with scUM over Nebraska with Frager out and we take them down in EL. I do think they have lost their stride from the start of the season but the still have weapons. If they decide to wake up, they can be a problem.

It's going to be a bloodbath. Nebraska is a great story and a pesky team. They aren't 20-0 on accident and will be a tough out in March

All of that said, this is a HORRIBLE matchup for them. They don't have the size or strength needed

Agree with this, I'd rather see um lose every time, even if it means Neb is one step closer to a conf. title....better than um being one step closer.

UM has been overhyped all year. Yes I get the metrics but they haven't looked great lately. The Huskers are the opposite. Good story that isnt believed but keep winning. They are playing well. Put me in the column that wants M tattooed with 2 losses this week.

Yeah, I get that side of the matchup for Nebraska is tough, but they have already beaten us and Illinois who have size and physicality too. I don’t think Michigan loves to have to match up against big guys that can shoot the 3. Makes Mara and company have to guard outside the paint. Not saying that Nebraska is going to win or even that they won’t get blown out, but I do think it will be interesting to watch. I took Nebraska and the points and could never, ever root for Michigan so I have a lot of bias in this one.

I do think Mast needs to have a big game, along the lines of the one he had versus MSU, in shooting the ball.
