Yes. It was the main route that all Council Bluffians used to access Nebraska:

Yeah, that deserves to be burnt.

I'm just going to give two examples of RBs that Nebraska allowed to piss down their pants:
1.) #1 RB in the nation in total rushing yard: 2026 Sr. Cam Cook Jacksonville State went to the portal and will now play for West Virginia (guarantee you that we could have outbid them)).
2.) #6 RB in the nation in total rushing yards: 2026 So. Caleb Hawkins North Texas State, will be playing for Oklahoma State next year. (Again I guarantee we could have out bid the sowbellies.)

This entire portal period has been an unmitigated disaster, and the only semi-bright spot is Anthony Colandrea, and even that is only a "semi-bright spot".

In the end they had to find and get commitments from 3 game changing positional players for the following positions:
1.) Nose Tackle; they failed so badly at this I can't even talk about it without burning my laptop with my eyes.
2.) Running Back; they needed just one experienced RB here to make this at least a D- grade, instead they get a I for incomplete ...... they did absolutely nothing.
3.) QB and this only because Dylan walked away, they brought in Colandrea who may or not be an average B1G QB.

I'd fire the entire recruiting department right now if I had the ability.

Beyond Colandrea the rest of this portal class looks like they should be playing for the University of Broken and Miss-used Toys. I mean we were taking people who had no sign of ability from places like Towson State .....

Figured you’d be impressed considering.
Keep in mind we have VERY limited numbers of available slots for TPs. We can handle 6 pretty easy, but more than that is a problem. The ruling on the rosters, with the grandfathering of players, and Nebraska having SO many Freshmen and Sophomores is impacting our options. This is why our 2026 class was so small. We have to slough off 21 players by 2030 through graduation from our roster of 126 players. You can't just "tell them so long, and good luck", with this ruling, they have to leave of their own volition, and the circumstances around their leaving has to be financially beneficial to THEM.

And in the end they brought in 12. OF that 12 they did so because they lost a starting DT, a starting QB, a OG candidate that Michigan grabbed the nanosecond he was out of Nebraska: Houston Ka'aha'aina-Torres and whom the staff had been raving about in the Fall Camp. A starter in the defensive backfield, and the #3 Qb. We also lost a backup on the OL who was projected to potentially start this year in Jason Maciejczak, and the only highly ranked RB we had recruited in the last 5 years in Jamarion Parker.

So add those 7 to my 6 and guess what you get 13 ......
