Need a Career Change? - Casey Thompson is hiring

Things I never expected to read for $100, Bob

Claims he runs 4 organizations, 3 teams, 1 LLC, 1 nonprofit, and investment and business deals.

To be fair, he literally has a Bachelor's from Texas, a Master's of Science in Public Policy, and an MBA. And it was all paid for by college football.

I'm sure he probably earned some NIL money as well. My point here is the kid is highly educated, already seemed pretty damn smart beyond the degrees, and probably went into his post football life with ZERO debt.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if he has a dynamic future in front of him.

To think he wanted to be Rhule’s QB year 1 (he was even happy being in a backup leadership position) and Rhule said nah, we bringin in Jeff Sims and riding with Hamburglar when he shits the bed!

Why did he leave if he was happy being in a backup leadership position?

I work with sports organizations like this all the time. 95% of them are not around very long either due to just being unsuccessful or others being fraudulent and scammy

I hope Casey’s apart of the 5% that succeed

I hope so. Maybe Ill hit him up. I'm contemplating retirement and could use a new gig. 😉

He entered the portal after Mickey and asked to come back when Rhule was hired. He even had an instagram post and we all thought is was a done deal.

I never understood the casey thompson hate, we could have used him Rhule’s first year
I thought CT was one of the more underrated QBs we've had here in awhile.

Pretty injury prone -- I don't think he would've made it much longer here either way (and tore his ACL early in the following season).

He could've theoretically been an asset, but at the time was very iffy to be healthy in time for that first Rhule season, & wouldn't have seen the field until fall camp at the very earliest. Would have been a gigantic risk - and in fact he ended up suffering a season-ending injury 3 games into the next season at FAU.

I didn't & don't hate the guy, but even in hindsight, the only way he could have helped us would have been if his health was better in B1G play than it was in G5 play.
