Fully agree with your point. At least we should be involved with recruiting top 150 high school players and have a good chance at landing them, imo, if our NIL is good enough.

It would be so nice to have 2 or 3 frosh/sophomores to have in the rotation every year with upper class portals or players we've developed!

We have a lot of roster spots to fill next year, beyond the seniors Berke and Frager are both guys that will have varying level of professional opportunities. Need to stack the cupboards with a few good younger high school recruits on top of the portal class we take

Definitely. Frager feels like the mold for what they should try to do. Bring them in, maybe redshirt or limited minutes, and then bigger roles year 2. It'll take a certain type of recruit to buy in but now they have very real upside to sell

Boosters, it’s time to give Fred $6mm+ to build the roster off of this season. Do not be cheap fucks anymore. This is unlikely to happen again with who is heading out after this season due to graduation/out of eligibility.

Rice and Lanier are both excellent pieces. The playmaking 5 man role Mast plays currently will be the hardest position to fill (obviously). That feels like a portal add. Probably need another big guy which we can get from the HS ranks or portal and I’d love to see a playmaking guard as well to replace Sam. Everything else will be shooters and wings from the portal.

I would say to definitely keep an eye on this one given his potential fit on next year’s team. Would love him to port hole to LNK

It will be a lot of fun to see if we can elevate from here. This is shining an awesome light on the program. I hope it leads to us elevating the profile of the program.

Fred seems to have a Moneyball strategy completely nailed at this point. What id like to see is him have some cash so that way if he needs to splurge for a guy like the Bynum kid who is at Ohio State the money is there.

Berke has done pretty well in spelling Mast. I don't know where we can find a guy like Sam. Crazy to think he might be the hardest guy in the roster to replace.
