All Cal can offer is Tosh which is a fuckton better than the coaching he'll get here but if the kid wants cash, it'll be Bama or NU. I know which one I'd choose.I’d be suprised if he gets out of Cal unsigned but we can hope. Staff might feel better about it
Cal has some NIL money unfortunately. Will that, plus playing in CA, playing for former coach and Cal ed make the difference? Who knows. All Cal can offer is Tosh which is a fuckton better than the coaching he'll get here but if the kid wants cash, it'll be Bama or NU. I know which one I'd choose.
I wonder if Cal can match an offer we'd make. They historically have not been a big spending team. The Athletic department very deep in debt.I’d be suprised if he gets out of Cal unsigned but we can hope. Staff might feel better about it
College football is just tiresome at this pointFootball is dumb, we are all here for basketball talk now
Looking at their portal class they seem to be more willing to spend than NebraskaI wonder if Cal can match an offer we'd make. They historically have not been a big spending team. The Athletic department very deep in debt.
I pretty much agree with you. But while there were some people that were excited, it seemed like most of the people weren't willing be excited because of how jaded they are about things. But regardless of the reason, not adding Burburija sucks.Idk man quite a bit of people were excited about getting Burburija. Now if true that he can’t academically qualify at Nebraska not much you can do but then he wouldn’t qualify at Clemson either. Big loss and don’t see the problem with taking all 3 of them (Green, Berrymon and Burburija) the Stoudmire thing is interesting because he’s basically coming off 2 season ending injuries. Anthony Jones is basically the equivalent as a 3 star or above freshman would rather they use that spot on a prospect. He’s much worse than McCullough and less versatile.
Tons of NFL HoFers basically can't read or do mathConsidering how some of you are during the games with comments like "why is he out of place" or "that was a bonehead play", are you really wanting to have someone who can't maths on the team?
Sean Callahan said this dude is probably asking $1.5M. Seemed laughably high, but this late in the game people are desperate. If he makes it to Nebraska I like our chances, but I doubt he steps foot on campus.I wonder if Cal can match an offer we'd make. They historically have not been a big spending team. That's something they don't have the power to do. The NCAA only represents Management.NCAA needs to create some structure and bring some sanity back to the sport
hopefully the schools and conferences break apart thenThat's something they don't have the power to do. The NCAA only represents Management.
Lamar Jackson is an MVP qb and he’s borderline retardedTons of NFL HoFers basically can't read or do math
Maybe, but their highest rated players are WRs, TEs, CBs and RBs. Those positions are not the most highly compensated ones, in fact they are the most lowly paid ones.Looking at their portal class they seem to be more willing to spend than Nebraska
it's easy to do if they want to. It is not independent - the schools are the members and run ithopefully the schools and conferences break apart then
The schools seem to be the biggest problem in a way because they don’t want to give the players more power and money through collective bargaining.hopefully the schools and conferences break apart then
Yeah I legit dont care, ill watch next year and see if we are worth a shit but outside of that its whateverCollege football is just tiresome at this point
