I doubt he’s transferring somewhere to be moved inside. And if he’s truly being paid like a top OT Nebraska isn’t moving him inside
Wasn’t he pretty bad
I don’t care about the price once he’s on campus. It’s about playing the best 5 at the best spots for them. Considering his future is likely at guard in the NFL, if we can develop a good RT out of our highly sought after/recruited young prospect that would be best for the program.
I thought he was fine. There were games where the entire OL struggled that he was involved in
I hear ya, but I don't mind our younger tackles with Brix, Mpouma, possibly Marks. But they aren't ready for 2026 so roll with Tree, Pritchett, Gottula, and you have a swing guy like Knaak. I actually like our tackle spot a bit.

It would be weird to avoid throwing yet another young tackle out there way too soon to get roasted for years and end up shitty in the end instead of developing them to play when they're ready
Black has played RG his entire career, and a SCarolina RG Teasley had ended up going to A&M after Black committed. I think we still need a RG, but I also think we'll add some depth from the portal
I mean Tree was a backup on a pretty forgettable South Carolina OL until an injury if I'm understanding the timeline of his playing correctly

It definitely hinges on if Brix can develop to the billing he was quoted at during the recruiting process. IF he can play at a high level it would be ideal for the entire line for him to start at RT.
I’m betting we are looking for a different starter at LG, but I agree with what you’ve got with the rest.
Quality addition. One of the MANY players we need to be competitive at a variety of positions as I noted in my post to you.
