Are you concerned at all that being good at identifying talent/value at the high school/early college level requires different skills than doing the same thing at the NFL level? Pat Stewart may no doubt be talented, and he’s been doing it at the NFL for a long time, but I could easily see this being another bust hire by Rhule. I’m not banking on that dude being able to say, “oh ya you need to pay this 20 year old from FCS $500K” and have it work out.I'm sure he is, but what we need Pat Stewart to do is find out where you can get "bargains" and where you need to spend. QB is obviously easy to figure out, on the line on both sides of course, but for example our All-American RB Nebraska was his best offer by far out of high school. WRs and RBs are a dime a dozen. We have plenty of TEs in Nebraska. Quit paying guys like Dane Key 800k.

I guess the bigger question is did we hire him to manage or did we hire him to identify talent?
