That's all I took from this. He didn't say anything overly crazy, really it was just odd that an ex coach was responding to randoms and then saying how bad the guys he coached were. He better scrub that if he wants another college job. But he's heading back to the NFL, that's where he's better suited.

I am not saying he bears no culpability, but I think it would be a huge leap to assume it was solely his choice where they spent their money in the transfer portal last offseason, especially when he just took over as DC.

Even if what you’re saying is true (I have no clue what we spent on the dline let alone other teams), you’re still making an assumption that Butler is the guy on the staff who chose Moore and George rather than Rhule or Vince G. etc. making that decision
