Used to live in Jackson, MS.. Would fly on Delta from DFW to Jackson about once a week. The flight was on a Saab Turboprop that only sat about 20 people (Jackson is quite a bit smaller than Lincoln, as is Birmingham), American flew the Israeli/French made ATRs also turboprops. That Delta flight to Jackson was the only time (including when I was on in-flight status in the military) that I went through a lightning strike on an aircraft.
Have never had an issue at Ontario, and I used to fly in and out of there every week for several years. Occasionally, winds out of the Cajun Pass can make it dicey but not often. Everything East of Ontario is warehouses for miles and miles, basically all of Mira Loma. Only expensive homes in that area are in Upland along the old historic neighborhoods.
My FIL kept his private plane at John Wayne, for lots of air-traffic reasons that is a dangerous place to fly out of. However so is LAX.

That is already operating out of Lincoln. Deab says it’s a national brand and not budget. Judging by the plane flying over herbie id say either American or deltaThis happened a month ago, but probably not related. Lincoln (and Omaha) need to start working on creating more jobs. They lag significantly compared to their peers.
