I wish Dylan the best where ever he goes. The kid absolutely has skills, but his biggest problem is between his ears! The kid's completely wrapped up in his image, his dad, and his stats (except for sacks). We’ve seen so many teams with mid qbs come in to Memorial Stadium over the past 20 and leave looking like Heisman contenders. Spend the damn money on bad-ass big guys! Did we all forget about Matt Turman? The team is supposed to be ONE right? How can you have a united locker room with these drama queens?

Not mentioned anywhere here so far, is how much money this opens up for NIL for other players NU wants. Dylan was making $3mil on NIL, about $1.5 mil was from out of state companies who wanted him for national marketing; Dylan will keep those. So the remaining portion that NU will obtain is $1.5 mil. We should be able to get a high quality QB for $1 mil, and have $.5 mil for other players, like a good RB. In addition we will be gaining what EJ was getting for NIL and also what Dane Key and Spindler were receiving.

Well you can but it's risky. Like Kevin Jennings at SMU was making $1mm last year and he was legit. He's making a lot more than that this year.

Now it's probably better for Nebraska to spend $3-4 on a qb and remove some risk, but there are diamonds out there.

I am legitimately curious what our plan is for that. Sounds like Lateef is very iffy, no EJ to lean on, & IDK if you think Haarberg, Gramstad, or Davila is likely to give you the best shot if TJ's not functioning at a healthy level.
