I don’t see him fitting Oregon in the slightest. Also it was just reported they’re in on Leavitt
Yeah, we wouldn't want the 6th ranked transfer QB who is a proven dual threat that's only behind former highly recruited P4 qbs moving on that these industry guys aren't going to admit have red flags keeping them from being worthwhile (Lagway looking at his 3rd stop already). We shouldn't want a QB that everyone is listing as a guy worth getting high level looks. He's not that good. This would be a major disappointment.
in hindsight, probably. You think it was a mistake taking Dylan's commitment?
probably not.Is there a QB recruit in the world that you don't make promises to?

As far as non-starters go - anyone got word on Kienholz?
Except his family member was retained long before he committed. If you want to argue we should have canned Donnie last year, well our o-line actually wasn't as bad last year.probably not.
but money and playing time are one thing, promising important coaching positions to family members is entirely another.
Seriously look at who succeeds from the portal. So many of these guys leaving are leaving for reasons besides money. Locker room liabilities, always evaluated high never performed to that level, you fill in the blank.LOL
I think he's a guy you can 'settle' on, but I sure hope they aim a lot higher.
Would take him over rolling with Lateef tho
He said “to thrive and best harness his potential”I'm just curious, do we have any legit intel on why he's leaving?
I don't have legit Intel but probably some blend of wants to be surround by more talent and is following the latest craze of transferring a time or two to better prepare for the NFL.I'm just curious, do we have any legit intel on why he's leaving?
I think I half agree with you.Seriously look at who succeeds from the portal. So many of these guys leaving are leaving for reasons besides money. Locker room liabilities, always evaluated high never performed to that level, you fill in the blank.
Lower level moving up tends to be the highest portal success rate.
I'm sure not everyone will agree - but it's pretty proven at this point. But I get wanting the "big name"... the question will always be, why is that big name moving on if he was so good at the last stop?
If you’re speaking literally we are an upgrade over Cincinnati seeing as we beat them in a game.
I think I half agree with you.
If we're talking Leavitt or Sorsby, then you're probably just wrong. Those guys are "do everything to get" if you can.
But...if we're talking someone who was just 'pretty good' somewhere and coming here? Give me the lower level dudes who balled every time.
