Legendary: Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey has one of the best stories in all of sports.

He was a 1st-round pick in the MLS Draft, but his soccer career stalled. So he walked away and used his software engineering degree to start working in tech.

One night, while watching the NFL with his wife, a kicker missed a field goal....

She told him, “You can make that kick.”

So he tried.

Aubrey spent years working as an engineer by day and learning how to kick at night — teaching himself from scratch.

He eventually earned a tryout, won a starting job in the USFL, and became a national story for his huge leg.

The Cowboys signed him.

Now he’s the best kicker in the NFL and well on his way to being the greatest kicker of all time.

From software engineer to NFL superstar.

One of the best stories in sports.
