I honestly have no issues giving people long runways as long as decisions are made that are correct or bad decisions are corrected and learned from.
I actually agreed with what the cover 3 guys said when they said we should have called his bluff when the PSU job opened. There was no reason to give Rhule an extension on the results he produced on the field. Rhule is supposed to be an experienced coach. He should have things figured out more than he does by now. He has already made plenty of vital errors on assistants.

A good coach and winning makes the pocket books open freely

With all of the resources we have this is a top ten place to be.

When you look at places even like Indiana, they can’t build the facilities we have or immediately upgrade what the day to day life of a football player actually looks like.

I don’t mean to get into a sales pitch. But football is just part of the life of a football player. You actually have to live in the place that you decide to play college football at. With that being said, you aren’t going to get treated better most anywhere else in the country than here and our resources are an extremely big reason as to why that is a fact. Add to this, if you win your life is going to get very green very quickly.

You can’t defend the product on the field right now. I will say that with a freshman QB these last 3 we’re going to be tough and I didn’t expect to win against PSU and Cockeye. But I didn’t expect to look like we had miles to go this year to be in the conversation as a top 25 team.

I really don’t want to hear anything anyone in Husker media has to say right now. Losing to Minnesota, Cockeye, and PSU in the fashion you did is not acceptable and you can’t spin this any other way.

Fuck - without Ron Brown serving as an interim running backs coach for a time in 2022 and offering EJ late and EJ making historic improvement in the offseason where is this team?

Was in until the start of year three. No improvement in roster development, player development, or game management.

Out.

If he’s smart, he realizes that he’s gone as far as he can with NU and pleads for Pedo State to take him back.
If Rhule were to leave right now we would be fucked in a coaching search

The only leeway that I’ll give any coach at this time is that the amount that college football has changed in the past 3 years is insane and mistakes are going to be made with anyone regardless of experience.

To that point though, if we are using hindsight they were right.

While I don’t think Rhule is officially on the “hot seat,” his clock has started. It’s going to be really hard to see a path forward here if we see this same thing next season.

Rhule is gonna have to make some serious roster moves this offseason

I doubt he changes any of the coordinators

Who knows about assistants

Alright so the Hail Mary play right now is Rhule changes his mind on Penn State and goes home, and DeBoer finally gets his opportunity to come back to the Great Plains where he belongs. Make it happen
I'm sorry I just don't believe he got a legitimate offer from Penn St
Maybe if it was contingent on going 9-3 or something

I expect us to have a losing season next year, and it will come down to 2027.

bruh

rhule's made his own bed by hiring jobu to be his DC to pair with a OC who's had 1 decent offensive year since 2018

don't even get me started on satterfield, barfthel and donnie

this is all fucked.

Top 5 coaches in ball right now. Kirby-coordinator, lanning-coordinator, day-coordinator, cig-G5 hc, freeman-coordinator. Everyone acts like there’s no good coaches out there besides proven p4 commodities and it’s just not true.

When a coordinator is hired it’s the easiest thing to attack is their lack of head coaching experience.
