I think when the QB and O-Line coach are blood related, if there are struggles you run into issues. Throw in that Dylan is the highest paid player and the Raiolas will take their ball and go home, it leads to a lot of uncertainty win or lose.

I liked having Lateef in for the sole fact that he wants to play at Nebraska and there’s no other factors at play. The team sure seemed to like him too and I’ve questioned that since day with 1 with Dylan.

They were rumored last year to be kicking the tires and they are just gonna buy a new qb every year apparently. Just makes sense.

What I find funny is a journalist can put out an article of speculation, without sources, and put an entire fan base in uproar causing them to completely turn on a player. They know Husker fans are rabid with news and will share, click, and engage with the article.

Makes sense. Maybe if you can get a top 5 can’t miss guy but those all go to other programs generally.

He reminds me of Shedildo Sanders where he holds onto the ball too long. I think Shedildo was better in college, and can’t see him being much more than a backup qb for his career

Shedildo might not be half bad behind a good NFL o-line. Same with Raiola. Neither one is going to create anything out of the backfield tho, and blink to slow to play behind a bad OL

I would always recruit a high school qb, but it’s dumb to pay them crazy NIL money when most flake out. We can definitely find a good qb for what we were paying Raiola in the portal.
