I really feel like Rhule is going to have to upgrade a bunch of assistants after this season. We’re paying way too much for pretty meh coaching and development.
How many times are you allowed to fire and rehire assistants before it’s the hc’s problem

It should be a consideration if we are truly NIL resource limited. We have lots of square pegs with round holes to fill.

We went out and significantly beefed up our wide receiver talent, and we can't utilize them effectively. We can blame the line, we can blame the line coach, we can blame Dylan, but it is evident that we're not all pulling in the same direction offensively.
Hunter was a huge get though. And maybe he doesn’t get the opportunities he gets without key taking resources from opposing defenders as well. Definitely need to get dudes on the line though

They were both huge gets, but we can't utilize them as effectively as we should, because we can't keep Dylan clean. I think as a result, he is not at all comfortable looking down the field.

So do you fire the uncle if it means the nephew leaving?

John C Reilly Yes GIF

I won’t talk shit about a kid and injuries, but it’s evident he should hang it up. His body isn’t holding up.
That seemed obvious a long while ago. Rhule is way too loyal. We should’ve had a young OL in his place developing.

Also next year we are going to need two Rocco’s and a stud OT in the portal again it appears.

I'll leave Donny's fate up to Rhule, but Rhule has to decide where we are going offensively. I try not to place blame on Dylan as he is obviously talented, but I think we have to take a long look at what we want to do offensively, what we can realistically do offensively with our personnel, and whether Dylan is really the guy that best fits that identity.

Rhule historically has, and should, want to run the ball. Holgs and Dylan probably don't give us the best long-term answer there. We have 20 years of proof that going away from that identity was not a good decision. Wisconsin is now exhibit number two on that front. Whether Donnie stays or goes, isn't really the first question that needs to be asked imo.

You’re asking for a lot. We are probably fucked unless we reallocate some money.

We are paying players now and Dylan is our highest paid player so everything should be on the table. Unfortunately politics come into play.
