Minny blows. Easy win for NU. Maryland will be the tough out
Counter point: Minny always looks bad in the early part of the season and then they start getting good around October. Usually the game that kickstarts their resurgence is beating Nebraska.

That Minnesota FRI game is a nightmare scenario for us IMHO.

I think we'll play well vs Maryland. Maryland is the opposite of Minnesota - they always start strong and then get exposed in B1G play. Which started happening in 2nd half of the Washington game.

FWIW, I went with Minnesota. We match up really well with Maryland, I think our defense will actually look really good against them. But Minnesota after flying home from Maryland, then having to travel there on a short week Friday game, and our track record against them recently could pose problems for us.

I will say that if we lose to Maryland we WILL NOT lose to Minnesota. We will go 1-1 these next 2. Rhule is a really good coach and we won't lose both.
Welp…

What a call. Away game, short week, on the road. 👌🏽

All good, bowl eligible after Northwestern. We were too beat up on a short week with that much travel. Hoping for a low spread and loading up on the Skers against NW.
How do you think we fare the rest of the season?

8-4 still but I’m way less optimistic about that than I was preseason. Northwestern isn’t a gimme, UCLA seems to have figured stuff out, USC has a ton of talent, and Penn State/Cockeye are a better Minnesota.

Our loss to Michigan didn’t look as great when they got dusted by USC and our win against Michigan State isn’t awesome when a future opponent of ours crushes them last week.
