N…Still Cincinnati’s only loss on the season

Did anyone see if Corleone is back from injury? I didn't watch a lot of the game but didn't see him out there

I will never admit it to my ASU friends, but I'm slightly jealous of how much fun the current big 12 is. With no dominant programs it's absolutely wide open.
I agree, they’re all so even. IMO Texas tech is just a step above the rest this year

I wish every Saturday of the fall that leaving hadn't been the smart move. I truly despise almost all of the Big Ten and beyond sick of the corrupt officiating.

They have a window of about 3-5 yrs where they'll have maximum fun. They have somewhat of an equity with the P2. They can make thr CFP etc.

The $$$ inequity will start to show in the next few years though. But yeah, right now, they're not in a bad place. It's entertaining football.

The only requirement to compete for a title is to have a good coach. I believe as time goes on, we’re going to see the gap widen between the big 12 & SEC/B1G cuz of the money.

Maybe even Texas tech’s oil money will get em a firm hold on top but rn the chaos is fun as they fight it out for supremacy

It’s so hard for some Husker fans to give credit to NU for beating Cincy. It was a good win, especially to start the season, but some just won’t have it.

Yep… Anytime you can go to a neutral field and defeat a P5 team in your season opener, is a good day. I acknowledge the in crowd advantage, but “neutral field” is far more than crowd. It’s comes down to unfamiliar surroundings, and having to travel.

Way back in ancient times, when I was playing college ball, I never heard the crowd quite honestly. What bothered me was the travel…not sleeping in my own bed with my own woman… strange schedule/lack of routine.

It was a good win by any measure.

First games are always weird, especially in the modern era with no two-a-days and more limited tackling in fall camp.

Who's woman did you have to sleep with when travelling then? And why was that a hardship?
