I do like the move to a 12 team playoff. Don’t think they should go beyond that though. Can't think of any other "improvements".I'm sick of people saying the sport "needs to change". Most of the changes they've made have been shit. Go away!

I appreciate you calling that out. I didn't realize there were two discussions going on here: 2026-2030 and then 2030 on.
I honestly don't care that much about 2026-2030, I'm more interested in where things are going long term.
Can Michigan make the playoffs without cheating?
Serious question
I cannot believe Klatt picked UM for the playoff.I heard a stat earlier today that made me lose faith in Michigan doing much of anything significant this year
This century, only 4 true freshmen quarterbacks have led their teams to 10 or more wins as the starter in a single season
- Trevor Lawrence (Clemson)
- Jake Fromm (UGA)
- Jalen Hurts (Alabama)
- Jeff Godfrey (UCF)
Just feels like the evidence says unless you have a mega roster (which Michigan doesn’t despite having some really really good players), 10+ wins (especially in today’s Big Ten) with a Freshman QB doesn’t feel likely. Which means, to me, they aren’t making the Playoff.
He's always pro nebraskaKlatt is an idiot. Just loves to keep kicking Neb down. Mich isn’t going to win 5 games this year.
Problem is he never puts his money where his mouth is when it comes to picking for the playoff. If you like Nebraska then fucking pick them jack assHe's always pro nebraska
Speaking of the playoffs
He’s just going off the 1-12 list of his most deserving teamsHow would Miami and Florida St have first round byes?
Florida State wins one game and everyone is slobbering all over themselves. Time will tell if they’re worth all the love. Their schedule is pretty light going forward with Clemson and Miami being their only real tests. But at this point, I agree, a first round bye doesn’t seem warrantedHow would Miami and Florida St have first round byes?
Also no way Nebraska is ahead of Illinois right now. Illinois had more hype coming into the year and they've got a slightly better resume if you assume Duke and Cincinnati are equivalent teams.
Isn't the 4 conference champs the first round bye or did they actually change that rule already?Florida State wins one game and everyone is slobbering all over themselves. Yes they changed it. It’s now top 4 ranked teams that get first round bye. It used to be top 4 ranked conference champs.Isn't the 4 conference champs the first round bye or did they actually change that rule already?
I thought that wasn't for a couple of years. They usually don't act this quickly.Yes they changed it. It’s now top 4 ranked teams that get first round bye. It used to be top 4 ranked conference champs.
