Husker Preseason is over - Worse, Same, or Better than you thought?

Ok, we’ve made it through the ‘preseason’ three games. Beat Cinci in an alternate location week one and completely manhandled two underpowered teams.

I’m going with Better. Felt we looked as good as any week 1 Power four team in beating Cinci.

The last two weeks we did exactly what a good team should and completely dominate inferior opponents in a way that there was never a doubt.

What say you as we head into B1G play?

Offense is a lot better, but front 7 is a lot worse. Gonna have to score to win some games now

I’d say worse but through lack and experience. Worse but learning and getting better.

Going through the score prediction thread for Cincinnati, literally all but like 2 people predicted a larger margin of victory than we had. So that is consensus below expectations.

Akron we nuked from orbit, that is consensus above expectations

I think it's fair to say we did to HCU about what everyone expected

Better. I’ve seen Nebraska teams play with their food enough in the last 20 years to know these could have been 42-17 games even though they shouldn’t have. They are doing what they are supposed to and getting back up experience is bigger than anyone thinks.

Thoughts on the Michigan game.
- I personally don't see Michigan being that great. Do they have a lot of talent, sure. I do not believe in the coaching staff at all. I see this being very similar to the Colorado game last year except Michigan is going to try and pound the rock. Nebraska is going to load the box and force underwood to beat them through the air which I'm not inclined to believe a True Freshman will be able to do. Nwaneri has a breakout game and this is where Dylan and Nebraska start getting a lot of love nationally.

Only change id make is swapping Michigan State with Maryland or Minnesota.

I was thinking of if I were to switch it today, I’d switch UCLA to a win and that’s the only change.

I voted for better because I can see this team going 11-1
