I’d trust him over all of those QB’s.

My brother in Christ, did you not see our quarterbacks for the past decade being unable to hit a swing pass to the RB with any consistency, & putting it on the shins of their checkdown receivers?

Dylan and Tommy Armstrong need to have a baby. Then all would be ok.Dylan has great potential and is already a great intermediate passer. It is the deeper throws and long balls which he is not adept at throwing from what we've seen thus far. It seemed like most of his deep throws last year would be floaters the WR would come back to, not bombs that hit them in stride.
For his running, he's not the most athletic guy but could pick his spots better on when to run and slide. I don't think it's as much of a liability as some make it out to be.
I'm happy he's our QB and think he can improve as he's just a SO.

Which is… fantastic.I'd say 68.1% on 452 attempts is the more relevant stat, but yeah.

True, but they also weren't paid the dollars that he is making
Exactly - he’s John Elway/Pat Mahomes fastHe’s not that fast though. Hes just mobile enough to scramble for that first down when needed
So we as a fan base need to nit pick and bitch about him? I mean if this isn’t fake news that NU fans are complaining about DR then we do have some serious hard rs out there. This dude did us a favor coming to a completely cratered NU to try to help rebuild it.True, but they also weren't paid the dollars that he is making
Raiola is still going trust with his WR’s, and Dana didn’t really give him a chance to take the top of it. You may see some more of Raiola just timing up WR’s and getting comfortable the next couple weeks.
This was mostly my takeaway. Raiola made the "right" throws with the exception of the one he threw late that Cincinnati should have housed.Holgo has been preaching all off-season to take the easy pass and don't go for the home run. I agree that mentality may change a bit with a couple more 50-50 balls if these receivers continue to prove they can go up and get it one-on-one.
Dylan is doing just fine and we’re luck he’s here.
By the way, I agree with these opinions for sure. This thread wasn't about what he's doing WRONG, because there aren't really any negatives. He's doing just fine. It's more about how much MORE he might bring to the table in the future. This dude did us a favor coming to a completely cratered NU to try to help rebuild it.
His OL and RB suck. That’s the problem. They are below what we would consider our peer programs by a lot. EndBy the way, I agree with these opinions for sure. His skillset/pedigree/recruiting reputation would lead me to think he will outshine all the guys I listed in the OP by far. Obviously he hasn't reached that level yet, he's been fine and good for his age, but I'm looking forward to his next steps!
Have the expectations changed as well?Which is totally irrelevant.
The rules changed.
