Raiola played well. The advanced statistics back it up in addition to the eyeball test.

You mean the near pick 6 was ELITE processing? The play where if he throws the damn ball on time instead double clutching its a first down for Key? He’s ELITE this man says all hail our man of cover 3

Wait. On 42 pass attempts, he has one bad decision and suddenly he's trash? I agree it was a poor play, but the other 41 attempts were just fine overall.

Raiolas deep balls last year were almost all ducks.
If that hasnt improved it’s smart to take the short safe pass.

You can eat up time and yards but drives will stall out eventually. A sack or poor run will doom drives if that’s how we play this year
The defense they were facing severely limited down field passing. Raiola played about as perfect as a QB could given what he was presented with.

Aside from this single turnover worthy play, his processing on 44 drop backs was exceptional, as evidenced by his 2.2% turnover worthy drop back rate (1/44 is the math since you’re a mouth breathing drunk) would land him at top 20 in the country per PFF last season.

Brother I’ll take one bad decision out of 44 every game. Thats an irrational expectation and take.

Never said he is trash. Said he needs to throw the damn ball because he can sling it. He typically just follows his first read and then checks down yet there are guys open in their routes.

Again, you have no idea what you’re talking about. You couldn’t describe what Cincinnati was doing if you had the All-22 footage and bill Belichick as your personal tutor.

He may actually be directed to do that by his OC and/or position coach. We don’t know.

It could be as simple as…Dylan, they are taking away the top of the field and giving us the underneath.

We want you to go to your first read and if it’s not there, take the check down for 5 yds. We feel confident our receivers are better than their underneath coverage and we can break 2 or 3 for long yardage gains.

If not, we are good with 5 yards each play. We want you to take those options.

Perhaps that rational approach is what he’s being directed to do.

Play within this system, take the 5 yards, and do the little things to almost perfection. We believe that will win this game.

As a Chiefs fan, I can attest to watching Mahomes make mistakes like this roughly 10 times last season.

But go ahead and focus on his one brain dead mistake, which resulted in nothing more than a punt.

My takeaway from this thread is that I feel really bad about our running game if Cincy was playing consistently with 3 deep safeties and dropping 8 into coverage. If we can't go for over 150 against Cincy and that scheme, we've given the blueprint for the rest of the B10 to defend us.

EJ played well but that's not going to cut it the rest of the season.

Both TD throws were NFL throws. The second one on the RPO to Key, the throw itself wasn't exactly challenging but everything that led up to it was incredible. He was ready to hand the ball off. It was a super late pull but had excellent vision and reaction to pull it as late as possible.

So 42 more rushing yards puts this one over the top for you?

108 rushing yards from RB1 makes you feel really bad?

Our run game issues was a lot due to the type of runs. Everything slow developing which allowed Cinci to crash hard with their LB’s and Safeties. Would have been nice to see more RPO plays as the few we ran were very effective.

Super thankful you are not the OC. We would be beyond fucked with a drunk retard such as yourself coaching the offense.
Cover 3 over the top! Sorry bud, can’t go over. Man says the bar is too high. Wall there. Too hard to understand wall. My feelings remain intact.

9 games weren't played last night.

It's a trend.

I looked it up earlier this morning. I don't see us benching Raiola for several games though, similar to Warren.
What was our YAC last year and last night? Have to imagine we’re very bad. Need some guys who can break a tackle or win a one on one.

I'm saying that if a team can go 3 deep safeties without committing to the run, then we're in trouble.
Their game plan was to sell out on defending a passing game they knew they could only contain in that manner.

We have to realize their run game defense is better than their pass defense. They knew if they played tight to the ball out WRs would eat them alive and we would make them look foolish.

On the couple occasions they played tight we pulled off 20 yards completions.

I’d love for RB1 to go off for 150+ too.

In fairness he did have what, like 135 total yards in the game.

He puts up those numbers all year and we have our first 1,000 yard rusher in what, 10 plus years? In turn he also comes in with 300 yards receiving?

In 2025, those are pretty big time numbers. At least in my eyes.
