Imagine for a moment that the unthinkable happens and Cincinnati beats us 30-27 on Thursday. How do you react?

I was stuck between coping and depression...but ultimately I think I would cope

this the first year in a long time i do not feel jaded going into the season. i'm fully bought in and while the season would not be "over" if the huskers lost.. I will be drinking the pain away, as is tradition.

I would probably consider deleting a bunch of the really bad meltdown posts on here, decide not to, then log off and cry for a few days
Can you not edit poll responses? I dropped the punt, bargaining should be something more like "If we can win out in September we will be back on track"

Depression is running away with it. To me it feels like day of, it's primarily anger and depression, whereas 2-3 days later it's turns into primarily coping and bargaining

Honestly, it will depend on how a loss would happen.

There is a chance of rain next Thursday. If we are talking about a driving all day monsoon and both teams commit 5 fumbles en route to a muddy abomination, I might be able to say ok this sucks, but the weather completely took away components of the game that Nebraska could exploit.

That's really the only way I can see Cincinnati beating Nebraska this season.
