Desering Huskers on there. But I think Dave Rimington got hosed!

I admit I know nothing about Chuck Bednarik, except I do know the award for the nation's top defensive player is named after him, while the award for the top center is called the Rimington Award!

Obviously, the other Husker who I think must have been a near miss and possible snub is Archie Wilson.

Kinda silly to do all time I think. Do post 1965, when two platoon football came back. Just a different game before that, hence the namesake of the defensive player of the year being listed as a Center.

Frazier was a missed FG away from 3 consecutive national titles, which included one of the all-time greatest runs in a championship game. Sorry, that’s a better career than Tebow.

I don’t think Frazier is necessarily the guy, but his QB profile is similar to Tebow, and it sucks that college football history has erased him in favor of the guy who got to go to the NFL and be a curiosity.

They both loved Jesus. Seems unfair.

Tim Tebow as the 1st All-Time All-American QB? Ridiculous.

He won the Heisman 1 year & was #3 & #5 his other 2 years.

Obviously he wasn't the prototypical QB, but his resume is right there with anyone's.

Go back and look at that All-Time defense and then imagine all those players in their prime. Then imagine a Tim Tebow led offense vs. that All-Time Great defense.

Offense doesn't score.

I brought up on TnD board, but Tebow ain't close to a Cam Newton or Joe Burrow. I get it's the 3 years of Tebow, but if we're building the best team he isn't even 3rd on my list.

I think they did a pretty good job with a very hard task.
Rimington's snub came to mind, but Bednarik is a legend. Also a psycho who hated the current generation of players.

I think Spielman is the biggest surprise. He shouldn't be above Lawerence Taylor or Kuechly or Bosworth.
