I'm guessing this is also fake. You put out a statement like this as a CEO and it is typically made by your PR/Crisis Manager and a team of people that have triple checked it and there are a few errors you can find in this.
Either that or he did write it and the guy is just a train wreck.
The only song in my head that is Coldplay is Speed of Sound and I wasn't even sure that was Coldplay. After a search, I found out that SoS and Clocks are different songs. I also realized that I knew the lyrics to other crappy Colplay songs but never cared to associate them with Coldplay. I'm 34 so this is a band of my formative years. Is Coldplay the most Nickleback of Nickleback-adjacent bands?
