I'm starting to really get excited about this kid. He will come in ready to contribute right away. International ball is wildly different than college ball. But Fred's concepts of spacing should be pretty natural for him. I think he will be a solid guy for us this year. Him and Mast on the floor together could cause problems with their size.

He has a ways to go defensively. They'll get him minutes early in the season against those scrub teams. He has loads of potential though.

We really have 5 guys that can play at the PF and C it would appear and contribute. We have not had that luxury for a long time. Will be an asset once we get into B10 play.

Even if he needs time to bulk up to play in the paint in the Big Ten, which he obviously does, he could still help early as a spacing player. He can shoot the 3 and pull a bigger defender away from the basket. Let the other four guys you mention play handle the inside for now. And if they try to guard him with a smaller player to keep a bigger player inside, he'll be able to shoot right over them.
