TLDR: 8 wins is the floor if Raiola throws for 20+ TDS.

20 or more passing TDs is the goal. In the past 3 years only 13 B10 QBs have thrown for 20+ in a season. Only 3 have thrown for 30+.

Lowest amount of wins for a team whose QB threw for 20+ TDs was 8. Maryland in 2023 and Purdue in 2022.

B10 teams whose QB threw between 20-29 TDs averaged 9.6 wins per 12 games. Teams whose QB threw for 30+ TDs averaged 10.5 wins per 12 games.

2025 Nebraska is more similar to 2024 Illinois, 2023 Maryland, or 2022 Purdue than we are to the year over year quality of Michigan, Oregon, OSU, or PSU, but regardless, if Raiola throws for 20+ TDs the floor for wins is 8 and it’s reasonable to expect 9 or 10 if the defense and special teams can perform in the upper half of the league. If Raiola throws for 20+ and we win 7 or less something has gone very wrong.

That puts us in a weird position. Either Raiola challenges/breaks both records, or this season was most likely a failure

I'd be completely lost if DR didn't break every passing record or finish top 3 in every category by the time he left.
