Yes and no. Like if we won the football natty every year and somehow finished last in directors cup I'd be fine with that. I'd rather win in multiple sports though.

It is a decent measure of how the athletic department is managed overall.

Agreed nobody cares about bowling (except parents of the kids bowling) but it factors in the sports we do care about. It's nowhere close to success in football but it's still a good thing to do well. We're at 21 so basically on the higher end of average among the schools that can actually compete here.
