I can read. Starters don't tell the entire story though. And as we both know, anyone can step up in a single game (goes for us too)...

If we play the way we did this weekend with the same approach at the plate I don’t know if there are many teams we can’t score runs on.

So much good this weekend and I require more of it.

I truly don’t know what happened, but all of a sudden we were smoking fastballs and we were hitting offspeed pitches the other way.

Perfect example was Sanderson against UCLA waiting back on that curveball and taking it to left field early in the game. During our shitty stretches I didn’t know if there were any guys on our roster capable of doing so. Shit, Carey and Helligso did so when they had opportunities. That double Helligso hit down the line might have been the best piece of hitting (outside of his homer against Michigan) I’ve seen from him all year.

Gotta suck to be north carolina and have that amazing season and then you get the shit kicked out of you in your own regional by a Nebraska team that's barely over .500 and barely made the tourney because they spent a two week trip to Cali slaying beaver instead of playing baseball and then decided to play baseball the last few weeks of teh season

You then between 1997-2000 proceed to OPS almost 1.000
